My 2 Holland Lops are 2 years old now and they have enjoyed this particular hay mix from Graz’n for the past year now! As soon as it arrives and I open the box my bunnies are hopping into it and munching away! They just LOVE it! They enjoy it along side Graz’n Prairie Hay! My 2 bunnies have healthy, shiny coats of fur and their yearly fecal tests show healthy poops. They get a lot of energy after eating their Graz’n Oat and Alfalfa Hay that I serve them! They hop into their bay bin immediately after I add it and chomp away! The vet says my buns are super healthy!

My 2 Holland Lop bunnies just love this crunchy prairie hay! They like the long strands and enjoy pulling it out of their hay bin. Adding this hay in their diet not only increased their variety but it improved their poop! ( all bunny owners should know good formed poop is a sign of good health so yes I mention that here!) My bunnies do big lies after they eat this hay and after they finish they are ready for lots of zooms! Thank you Graz’n for this awesome prairie hay and for caring about my bunnies, myself, and the Earth by using organic practices!
I have finally found a sustainable and effective product to keep my bunnies’ litter box odor free! I put a single layer of pellet bedding in their litter box and I no longer smell odor even on litter box clean out day! Plus, I am so happy that I can pour out my bunnies’ used pellet bedding directly from their litter box into my compost area in one step! I love having a waste-free bunny litter box thanks to Graz’n! I also love that the bag is reusable by my bunnies for paper-tearing and playing and then into the recycle bin!

I was looking forward to trying out a new organic hay, but was very disappointed when I opened the box. I purchased three different types, two of which were fine, but my bunny wasn’t impressed. The oat/alfalfa was bad and I didn’t even use it. It was mostly brown and full of prickly pieces that were uncomfortable for me to handle so I didn’t want my senior bunny with digestive issues to eat it. What I did appreciate is the packaging and no plastic bags, though I wonder how that would work during winter delivery?
Good morning, thank you for reaching out and we’re sorry to hear about your experience. GRAZ’N is built on sustainable practices ie. We don’t irrigate, use chemicals, pesticides, additives, climate-controlled storage, etc. which impacts us differently than what you may normally experience. Our hay is sun-cured (not dehydrated) and highly dependent on weather therefore UV rays can limit the amount of green a plant may have. We strive for perfection however mother nature can impact us therefore it’s possible you may see brown hay color. Alfalfa is also more course as it dries compared to a grass hay but from a nutritional perspective, it will provide what our animals need. Glad you appreciate the packaging; we’ve worked hard to find alternative solutions to plastic😊 What concern might you have about our packaging in the winter since we haven’t seen any over the last several winters? This bedding is really soft and it works great for my bun. This will definitely prevent her from getting sore hocks. It’s very absorbent and keeps the odor down.
